Out of Africa by Original Soundtrack (CD, Oct-1990, MCA Records USA)

I simply LOVE the music on this soundtrack. It is composed of all very relaxing instrumental scores, many of which are unique, with the exception of some tribal chanting in one song. It has been years since I have watched the movie Out Of Africa, but I always enjoy listening to this music. It is very haunting.

I have seen the movie several times and thought the music was beautiful. It is for sure. I will probably wear it out from listening to it so much. Loved the movie as well. They just don't make movies like they used to for sure.

This soundtrack is a MUST HAVE for any music lover. Not only does the music set the tone for the movie but it also holds your attention until the last note is played!!

Had to purchase this CD. My wife adores Robert Redford and I would leave home for Meryl Streep. Out of Africa is the most terrific love story ever and Sydney Pollack created an everlasting masterpiece. The music adds so much to the film and will make us both recall the movie's great scenes. We have watched the movie at least 10 times and will enjoy the music for many years to come.

I'm a big fan of classical music, and I must say that the soundtrack for Out Of Africa is more than I expected. John Barry is one of the best composers of his time.I decided to buy it because I really was fascinated with the movie and the music. Great buy, I am very satisfied.

I SAW THE MOVIE,I HAVE THE SOUNDTRACK IN VINYL RECORD I WANTED IT IN CD.JOHN BARRY COMPOSES THE MUSIC FOR THIS LOVE STORY GIVING THE FEELING OF THE TWO MAIN CHARACTERS LOVING EACH OTHER.HE SCORES INCREDIBLY GOOD IN PAINTING WITH MUSIC FEMALE CHARACTER'S FEELING AFTER THE LOST OF HER LOVER IN THE AFRICAN SAVANAH.SHE IS ALONE LOST AND DESPARATE BUT SHE REMEMBERS HIM AS HE IS STILL LEAVES IN HER.EXCELLENT WORK.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I love the movie "Out of Africa" and I love the music in the movie even more so I wanted the soundtrack. The soundtrack is listened to a lot and is very soothing and relaxing. I listen to it over and over at work. The item is not easy to find in stores and I liked the availability on EBay and the price as well as the fast shipping.

Wonderful CD! I love the music from the movie. It is a very good quality and the songs bring back the movie even when I cannot be watching it.

This ebayer notoriously takes way too much time to get the item to the buyer. He doesn't even order it until after you have won it and makes the buyer subject to his delays. He is a middle man with no risk. I think that is a bit deceiving.

I lost this great cd, a few years ago and saw the movie on tv recently and thought how I use to like to drive in the car with the windows down blaring this cd and getting lost in the music. It is classical all the way through and very relaxing.
So, I did a search on e-bay!!! I found out that the music was a limited edition and not even being made today. So I would have to buy used and I wanted to buy at my favorite place - which would of course be E-BAY. The purchase went smooth and needless to say I am riding with my windows down and the music hummin'
