Our Father Abraham by Marvin R. Wilson (1989, Paperback)

This is a must read for anyone wanting to learn the origins and foundation of Christian or Jewish faith. This book is well written and easy to understand. It is extremely informative and has test questions at the end of every chapter to help the reader fully understand and comprehend what is being taught. Our Father Abraham is the cornerstone of Christian, Judaic and even Muslim faith. This book helps to give a better understanding of our begins. I highly recommend it.

There seems to be an encouraging groundswell of dialog and interaction happening between Christians and Jews nationally, internationally and locally.
This book is square one for me as a Christian. Of benefit is the scholarship
of the author Marvin Wilson and the format of presentation and his study questions at the end of each section. I have a much deeper appreciation now
for the roots of Christianity and the interdependency we share through our
histories.

This is a book I used to research Abram/Abraham of the Bible. It was recommended reading so I searched various sources before I chose to purchase through ebay. I am very happy with everything from beginning to end, including price, appearance, etc. I found in my search that I could purchase this item through ebay at a rate less than any other source. Therefore, once again, I have proved ebay to be the best source for most all my needs.

I like the subject matter and this book was highly recommended by many scholars, teachers and friends and it is very deep and well worth reading, and I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to know the Word of GOD in greater depth.

I bought this book because of my interest in early Church history and it's Jewish heritage. This is a wonderful, informative book on the subject. Full of names and dates from recorded history, the Old and New Testaments come together to show that Christianity has strong rich Hebrew heritage. Also discussed are the unfortunate events which led up to Christians and Jews severing ties. Marvin Wilson shows why Christians need to reexamine their roots and what can be done to restore broken ties. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Jewish roots of the Christian faith.
