Orca: The Killer Whale (DVD, 2004)

I bought this for my mom and had it sent directly to her. She got it very quickly and the movie was in perfect condition. It was a good transaction and I am very satisfied.

great 70's schlock- picture quality excellent because of dvd. ,however someof the whale scenes looked like they were filmed in an aquarium.

I have been looking for the movie for quite awhile. When I found it, it was better than I expected, cause it was NEW and on DVD. I expected, if I found it at all, it would be an old VHS. I was vedry happy with my purchase.

My boyfriend is crazy for this movie! I purchased Orca for him. It is a action packed movie, and keeps your attention.

I have always thoroughly enjoyed this movie since seeing it as a kid. Being a Jaws fan, I always enjoy watching a movie about a massive underwater beast doing its best to munch away the day on the local human population, and this movie does not disappoint.
If you enjoy this type of stuff, this is one of the better movies of its kind to take a gander at.

We saw this movie years ago and liked so we decided to buy it so we can watch it when we want.

A completely lame and unrealistic movie. Overuse of eye close ups actually turn from irritating to humorous, Bo Derek's limited acting skills, Richard Harris' half hearted performance, interspersed stock whale and shark footage can all make you want to turn this off.
BUT>>> Has a producer Like Dino DeLaurentis ever demanded directors to harp on eyes so much? (The white Buffalo,King Kong and this.) Does anyone else make such loveable schlock? Nay I say unto thee... NAY!!! (re: overacting)
A must have for anyone who grew up in the 70s and dug monster movies wishing they weren't only making Bears,Sharks and Orca flicks then..
The visual at the end is worth all the suffering prior. Arctic battle.. makes ya wonder if maybe the Orca had john Carpenter's The Thing in it!!!

I bought this movie because it is a very good story. It also has some dynamic special effects. This is truly a great love story and revenge evn though it is between man and the killer whales. Well reccommended.

I like how it makes you see whales as creatures with emotions much like our own and how man has uselessly hurt them. In a way it is a love story between two whales. It is a very good movie that I would recommend to everyone who loves adventure and nature. Good acting and background music during the movie as well as some beautiful scenery of the whales and the ocean. There are some bloody attack scenes which are probably necessary to get the point across, so it may be a bit disturbing to young children.
