Optoma EP719 DLP Projector

So I've been looking around for a good projector for a good 3 months that was high definition, and I couldn't find anything under $500. Finally I find this ad for an Optoma EP719 projector for $250 FOR A BUY IT NOW! I looked at the bids and saw no one was bidding for this item- probably seeing the comment about the bulb being blown out. I purchased a DLP replacement lamp the very same day. Both the Projector and the lamp came the same day. When I got the projector setup with the new bulb I ran into some problems. At first the projector turned off saying that the lamp was near end of life cycle then it said that there was a fan failure. So I vacuumed the projector out. Turned on with no problem, then I reset the lamp timer in the menu. I have nothing to complain about except that I cant ceiling mount it in my apartment.

I received my projector as promised very fast within two days. It's Friday and I have a four day weekend, what better way to spend it than watching movies on my projector that I am very pleased with. Good work...

I was very disappointed with the product promised. It came in a prepackaged box from another company and was a refurbished model. It also did not come with the remote or bag promised and when this was requested I got a message it would be sent but have not recieved anything to this point. Also when I finally got a power cord for the unit (This was not part of the item either) when it came on it has a fan failure notice and also the lamp life is over 1150 hours (so 2/3 used.)So overall I feel I was duped by the presentation and bought a broken item at an exorbitant price and I probably will steer clear of ebay from now on.
