With that in mind, his debut album OPPOSITE OF H20 delivers the quality songs that other Ruff Ryder affiliates, such as The Lox and Eve, have shown they were capable of. Drag built up anticipation for this solo album when he spit flames on tracks like "Down Bottom" off the RYDE OR DYE compilation. Here, Drag continues to spit over Swizz Beatz produced tracks. Drag's moment comes on "Spit These Bars," which fits perfectly on a Ruff Ryders menu and "Ready For War" when he teams up with The Lox. With his first effort, Drag uses that authentic Ruff Ryders formula, but shows he has his own original style too. The best pure rapper in the Ruff Ryders family after DMX, Drag-On debuted with Opposite of H2O. The album pushes tough grooves, thanks in part to trackmasters Swizz Beatz, and hardcore raps, featuring every major member -- DMX, Eve, the LOX -- of Ruff Ryders. Despite the many guest spots, Drag-On remains the focus of the album, profiling his skills on the radio-breakout "Split These Bars."
