I had never read a book by this author before. The synopsis sounded interesting, so I bought and read it. The story was so interesting, it was hard to put down till I finished reading it. This book is so good I will keep it in my favorites collection. It has a light touch of paranormal in the male character's dealings with all animals and the female character has the right amount of neediness that is not over done. They are both strong characters that complement each other. The book is a bit long but held my interest throughout the unfolding story.

I got a quick response from seller. She emailed me promptly and told me she had mailed the product. Then it took almost 3 weeks to receive it due to the package being missent by the postal service. The seller & I kept in contact with each via email. I would buy from this seller again as the delay in getting the product was not due to the sellers error.

Great book!

) Catherine Anderson's books always make you feel as well as enjoy the romance. Chloe Evan has started a new life with her son, after the death of her abusive husband. Everyone in town has warned her against the most dangerous man in town, Ben Longtree, who is the town outcast rumored to have killed a man. In reality, Ben Longtree is a gifted veterinarian who the wild animals go to when injured or sick, and has a secret pet mountain lion. After giving her son Jeremy his first puppy, Rowdy, the puppy becomes very sick. Chloe takes the puppy to the town vet, where he is diagnosed with parvo virus, the vet wouldn't treat Rowdy without an immediate down payment of three-hundred dollars. Chloe has no credit card or money to pay the vet and they leave with puppy untreated. Unbeknownst to Chloe, Jeremy takes matters into his own hands and walks up the mountain with Rowdy to Ben Longtree. Ben can see how sick the puppy is and young boy and he make a deal, he will keep Rowdy at his home while treating him, and Jeremy will help clean out cages. Sparks fly when Chloe finds her missing son with Ben Longtree.
