Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny (PlayStation 2, 2002)

The Onimusha series on PS2 is awesome. This 2nd game builds on the 1st so you revisit areas that were destroyed in Onimusha Warlords...but don't worry, there's all new stuff too! This one has an additional bartering system that you use with the NPCs to get extra goodies. Like the 1st game, this one has excellent graphics, gameplay, level design, monsters, etc, etc...just freakin' great.

Onimusha 2: Samuri's Destiny turned out to be a Great game. What more can you ask for in a game? The grahics are amazing, the sound is sweet and the games is overall a hit. I loved it, loved it ,loved it!. This a game worth buying and adding it to our collection. This game is worth playing and I tell you that you will have alot of fun kicking major booty. I am giving this game an 8.8 for all that it is worth, I really enjoyed playing it. Sit back relax and enjoy this game. You will not be sorry.

A hack and slash with an RPG like story? Impossible? Not with this game. This is a phenominal game that combines survival horror with a hack and slah of a ninja game with a comples story line and CGI movies of an RPG. You MUST get this game if you are a fan of arcade style hack and slash and love RPG's.

This is the second installment. Man.. won't the bad guys ever die? The story is much weaker (maybe it isn't original enough).

Fun game but once you beat the game its unlikely that you would want to play it again for a long time. and why does the character look like the hitman from the movie "the professional"?

Fantastic story. A unique main character, Jubei Yagyu, in contrast to Onimusha 1 & 3's hero, Samonuske-Akechi, he brings a much more aggressive and charasmatic personality - along with the cast which all shares their own uniqye traits. The gameplay has been refined with analog support and updated controls, the enemies are as hard as they've ever been, and as diverse aswell. Loads of mini-games which add to the replay value of this game, and with a level up system that'll keep those determined gamers busy and rewarded. Action packed, guarenteed hours of fun and thrills.

This was a really cool game for me.I saw my uncle play it when i was little and have since wanted to try it out. I consider myself lucky to find one new ^.^

I like this game because i like the original Onimusha, this is more of the last Onimusha, with more action, powers and adventure. A good game to your PS2.

Overall this game is great to play with. I dislike about this game is it kinda hard. I decided to buy it because the game is cheap. I only paid $4.99. That's what great about ebay is the items are cheap enough to afford it.

The best game in the series, in my opinion. I spend hours trying to discover all the different scenarios and paths. It was a lot of fun!

The voice over seemed like it was home made but the animation and fun was fantastic. Gave you a bunch of different levels. VERY graphic - violence - not for young kids.

I don't like this game at all as there is WAY too much blood and gore. I purchased this game thinking that it was similar to the Dynasty series of games that we love. Besides the fact that it's a one player game you hear the weapon going into your victim and you see LOTS of blood. This game isn't at all what I thought.

Best One in The series worth the money open ended story makes it good and depending on who u become freind with is who you control but the only downfall they put to much in the story in a hope to make the game longer than what it realy is

If you've played and enjoyed the 1st game, Onimusha 2 should be a definite buy, especially at the reduced used or new prices you might find on half.com or ebay. Graphics are better than the 1st game, same goes for elements like game play, enemy AI, options in terms of fighting etc. I am glad i got this game and now looking forward to buying Onimusha 3.

I started with this title in the series and I loved it, the story seems to hook me in. I recommending this if your a Fan of RPG and Hack and slash. This game has upgrades, new weapons, and new characters to keep you busy with gameplay.
