One Year Bible (1986, Paperback)

I highly recommend reading the Bible daily and this Bible really helps to do just that. It is simple, and organized and enlightening. I read the portions for the DAY and then initial. The One Year Bible my wife and I are ready now is probably our 12th one. Because the entire Bible is broken up into 365 Daily readings by the end of the year you will have completed reading the entire Bible.

What a wonderful way to start the day! At times I don't know what to read in the bible and this helps me to dive into it and I always get something that carries me through the day!

I found that this is a bible that you want to read. This is not the expensive Bible that sits on the bookshelf to record Family history .This is a book that I used highlighters to show what I had read around ,but had never noticed before.This Bible is ment to use the wide margins for notes that you find the need make about what you just read.This Bible is printed in the form of the book of an owners manual for Humans to get along with other as well as to have a better understanding of yourself and your purpose . The verse #'s are there ,but they don't start the verse ,the sentence like you would find in a book about a story told to another person starts in paragraph form as reading a story.The publisher intended for the reader to read 15 min. a day, which covered the Old .& New Testament ,with Proverbs divided by dates 1/01 - 12/31 of that year.I would read that week of each Testament over a 2 day period not to loose the part of the story that I was reading . I have bought several copies to give to those that I felt would read this One year Bible.I have seen many that are as worn as much as mine and in some are worn more.may you find it on ebay as new book this One year Bible can be found in the version that best suits the reader. May you be first and buy one to give as a gift to you first. My is highlighted and notes in the margins.Not to be greedy it is not for sell ,I have new ones for others to read that are for that person that will use it as a work book. I had purchased these at local bookstores randomly over the past 10 years to give to people and I hadn't ever thought of looking at buying these online before. I needed another copy and checked out "ebay" to look for potential vendor. I was very surprised to see that their were several like new condition used copies they were very cheap - 1/4 the cost of a new one and the shipping was free! I was pleased and will use the ebay internet as a tool for just about everything I need that is in used condition. Prices are not generally much better if I am buying new because shipping charges add too much to make for any savings.

The One year Bible is an excellent way to read through the Bible in a year. It goes through all of the books. You read one section from the Old Testament one from the New Testament a Psalm or two and a couple of proverbs. It doesn't take more than fifteen minutes a day and it's a great way to read the Bible. You usually read about three pages a day, but sometimes you read as many as five.

First of all, the One Year Bible is terriffic. It's an easy way to get through the whole Bible in one year without having to remember where you left off last. Each Day there are readings in the the Old Testament, Psalms, Proverbs and the New Testament.

Second, and last -- This Bible will cost you at least $15 locally, but you can get it for a song on e-bay, including the shipping. WHAT A DEAL!

What a wonderful concept! This Bible organizes passages form the Old and New Testament, plus Psalms and Proverbs by date. You read a consecutive passage from each every day, and at the end of the year, you have read the whole Bible! Who among us has had that as a goal, and then gotten bogged down in Numbers? This makes it easy to move right along, and I highly recommend it!

It is easy to read. I bought it so that I could read the entire Bible in one year. It is comprised of different passages for each day and the break down is good.

I got it mainly because I liked the laayout and therefore made it easier for me to get my daily reading of Gods word. There is just one thing that would make it even better and that would be to do as in the regular bibles is to have the sayings of Jesus in red.

This Bible is fun to read; it is arranged in 15-20 minutes daily readings. The reader is able to complete reading the entire Bible in one, two, or three year periods (whichever he/she prefers). I own several versions of this Bible, and I give copies to friends to assist them with daily worship. This is truly a Godsend.
