  Wonderful Writing!

This book.. the way she writes it and the story and all that, even if you don't WANT to, makes you LIKE Stryker! I was like "nooo I don't want to like the BAD guy!" But you do, you come to respect him as a character and that right there is great writing! To take the VILLAN and make him a some what likable character!

  Gave Stryker's character more depth

Although not one of Sherrilyn Kenyon's best in the Dark Hunter's series, it did serve to make the daimons' lifestyle choice a little more understandable. The book was pretty short and way to many pages were devoted to he thought/she thought moments but all in all it did enhance the Dark Hunter world by explaining more of what motivated alot of the so call bad characters.

I got hooked whe I bought my first book by this author. She has a way of bringing you in to this would of migic and gods like no other author has ever done. The Dark hunter novels are of suspense and love. They also make you not want to put the book down until it is done. The author keeps you wanting to know how everything is going to end. I give these Novels 10 stars, on a scale 1-10 as 10 is the best. I reccomend this series to everyone.

Thought it would have a bit more Christmas theme

I love Sherrilyn Kenyon's books. I think I have read all but one, that has been printed. She took over the space left by Anne Rice. Great paranormal writer- with just enough romance!! I love her use of Gods and Goddesses, and I always am so excited when I hear that another book is coming out.

This Book Will Change the order of the War .... totally
Review created: 12/10/08
by:

i loved all the twists and turnns.... and the fact that stryker, the man without a haeart and whow could kill his own son by slittin his hroat, was able to find love and still find a way to help his side of the 'army.'
In the end he was also able to work with three of his most hated enemies and still get the job done with little to no blood shed... the only bad part of the book was that there was not enough of Acheron and Tory in it....
Though to give it props on one thing... it gives a hint as to the relationship between Savitar and Apollymi. I think those two will be getting together... thats whatall the 'tension' is between them, no matter what, and why Apollymi put up with him even with all his surly and lack of respect for others ways. So that is MY review. Hope it helps.
