I bought this cd because I will be seeing them in February. I am a Sirius subscriber and I haven't heard anything good about the cd. But, I love it I love Dave Navarro so I gave it a chance. I can't wait until Febbruary 11 to see them live.

This is an alright cd. And it was cheap, which makes it even better. It has Dave Navarro, formerly of Jane's Addiction.

I'm waiting for Dave Navarro and friends here in Italy!

I'm an Italian girl (with good Italian but not so good English!!)
I read the previous review, my opinion is similar, I agree with the fan that gave 5 over 5.
I love Jane'S Addiction with my deep heart, and I love Dave Navarro too: he has personality and plays always with passion. (Too many tatoos, but it doess't matter!)
After Jane'S Addiction split, Dave made the best thing he could do: create a new band with quality and character, but different from the world famous Jane'S.
The Panic Channel are different, but they play honest rock, and they worked to produce an album that has quality and rock rithm. All the song (unless one or two) are very good. I suggest to buy this album for everyone who likes guitar and rock music (near to classic rock, not very alternative like Jane'S).
Sorry but I didn't see the ban live. I think they didn't come in Italy, but I hope they will do it as soon as possible. Dave, I'm waiting for you!!!

  The One
Review created: 05/09/07

I had never heard this band before seeing them live as an opening band. They blew me away. They were 100 times better than the band we came to see. So I bought the cd. It is one of the best cds I have ever purchased. The vocals are amazing. Steve has an excellent voice. The band excellent as well. There is maybe one song on the whole cd that I didn't like, but over all this cd is worth the money. It rarely leaves my car's cd player! Highly recommend it if you are looking for something new!!

  Good Singles. Not much else.

The Panic Channel are a very talented band, but this album was nothing special. Only a few good songs. The rest of the songs just... filled the CD. I still liked it though.

Buy this one - great listening!

I have long been a fan of Dave Navarro from his time with Jane's Addiction and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I was excited to get this first CD from his new band and it exceeded my expectations. The sound is not as hard as Jane's, but The Panic Channel has their own sound including great vocals by Steve Isaacs. The music and lyrics draw you in. I have listened to it over and over.

It received some mediocre reviews when released but is worthy of the purchase and support.

I highly recommend it.
