Why This is a Lousy Book:

Warning: Plot spoilers, not that it matters.
The weak and awkward tale of one Jon Moore, courier, mercenary, survivor of some vague planetwide nanotech disaster back on his home world of Pinkelponker (No really, Pinkelponker)
He is sort of a retired corporate soldier with vague ambitions to be a knight errant, except he is in perpetual hiding because he is crawling with highly dangerous nanites that don't bother him, but could get him locked up for life.
He is tricked into kidnapping someones daughter, is given a small (and mostly busted)assault craft as a reward for his work, fixes it up, and spends the rest of the book cruising around in search of vengance, or meaning, or a plot or something.
Books best use is for sedative purposes. Shows unsettling signs that author is planning to re-offend. Cover art is also lame.
