What do you want from your music?
This album is good in its own rite. This cd features Dave Navarro on guitar instead of John Frusciante. Navarro brought with him a metal/progressive rock guitar style to the band, which changed the style of the music overall. This album is good as a normal rock album, but as something that is in the Red Hot Chili Peppers anthology, it is somewhat out of place.
However, there are several quality tracks on this album which have the heart and soul of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Despite this, they will now no longer play any songs off of this album in concert. On stage, this album is generally denied.
As previously stated, there are quality tracks on this album, but if you are looking for the classic Chili Peppers sound, you will be somewhat disappointed in sounds, not lyrical content. So it depends on what you want from the album on whether you will like this one or not.
