Making kaleidoscope quilt blocks are easy and the ideas and techniques in this book are fabulous! I love books full of illustrations and color pictures. This book has both. You can choose hexagons or octagons and templates come with the book. These techniques are easy and avoid the planning, fussy cuts and mess-ups that can go along with kaleidoscope cutting. The pictures in this book are fabulous!

It is a great technique for quilting. I am really looking forward to start a project using this book. I just got it and have not had the time to read very carefully. But is sounds fantastic.

) I purchased this book so I could teach a class to my local guild members. The original teacher was moving out of the country and I didn't want those that signed up to miss this chance to make this project. So I bought the book, made the hexagon design and now I am ready to share my newly acquired knowledge. Maxine's instructions couldn't be any clearer and easy to follow. I loved that she incorporated a picture of the fabric she started with next to the end results. I plan on making more one block wonders.
