Once upon a Quilt by Bonnie Kaster, Virginia Athey (1997, Paperback)

This book is for the quilter who is young at heart & still appreciates the fairy tales we all heard as children. It has patterns for scenes from 10 different stories & each is nicely detailed. I've seen the panels used in many ways - as wall hangings, pillow tops, even worked together to make a large quilt. It would be suitable for any level of quilter & it has many tips & techniques to make the applique easier. I've seen bits & pieces of the panels over the years & when I saw this book, I KNEW that's where they had come from & I just HAD to have this book!!! I can't wait to start a project from it, but it's very difficult deciding which one to do first!!!
