Once Upon a Potty - For Her (DVD, 2004)

Very good video, but a little short. My daughter was sitting on the potty while viewing and it would have worked better if she sat a little longer. Once the video was over....she was done trying to go potty. But other wise I was very satisfied with the content. She especially liked watching the other babies and toddlers in the video.

It gains the child's attention by using a simple story and song to help teach potty training. It shows babies of all ages which also helps to gain the child's attention. It is not annoying to listen to, which is a big plus for the adults who are listening. This worked for my children, and now is helping my granddaughter. I heard her singing the song just yesterday, and she is having much success with her training.

This movie is super cute and I think this is what helped my daughter potty train quickly. The only downfall is that my husband and I had the Potty Song stuck in our heads often(hee-hee!). I will definitly get the Potty Movie for Him when my son is ready to potty train.

this is the second dvd i bought once upon a potty my granddaughter loves it they say it's the best baby sitter they have ever had i bought the second one for a baby shower this movie has lots of color singing and keeps your toddler amused till they learn the potty song then you get to hear that 10 times a day this is a must to have for your toddler A++++++++++++++++++++++

I purchased this dvd for my two year old who wants NOTHING to do with the potty, and she loved it! I can't say that it is working, but it does entertain her! It is however a little annoying to listen to, over and over and over again. Who knows, maybe it will work for some kids!

I was on youtube and found a funny video I'd never seen before. It was the song from this video. It kept my dd so entertained for so long that I had to buy it. She requests it and gets upset if we don't play it for her.
On the other hand, it is also pretty informative, so I don't mind her watching it on repeat ALL day!

So let me start with letting everyone know that we love the Once Upon a Potty for Her book which is why we then purchased the DVD. It is basically the book being read with artwork on the screen. Very basic, nothing fancy. My daughter loved it however so I guess that is what matters. We watch it over and over and over again.

I thought the DVD running time was a little short, but my daughter loves it! We've been having a hard time getting her potty-trained. However, she actually wanted to use her potty the first day she watched this DVD. It's made a huge difference in her progress.

This is a dvd for my daughter. We wore out the VHS copy and it's been a great help in potty training her.

This is a average, short DVD for children to watch. I wish the little girl did more talking and the voice of the mother, who is explaining what is happening. I do like the addition of the the parents guide. I am not for sure it is worth the money. It might be better to just buy the book, so that you can read it with your child each time they practice sitting on the potty, etc.

bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

I did not like this video the minute I put it in. I am a parent that does not like "baby talk" and I prefer to teach my child the proper names for body parts and body functions.

Since "Prudence" the doll, has "girl parts", one would assume that the creators would use proper names.

In the video as well as the book, when Prudence goes on the potty, the mother in the story refers to it as "wee-wee and poo-poo". This drives me crazy!

Prudence's vagina is refered to as her "pee-pee" for making "wee-wee"
Her butt is her "bottom with a hole in it" for making "poo-poo"

The "potty" looks like a water jug which is a bit confusing.

On the upside, my daughter did enjoy the video but I havent played it again and she forgot about it.

My granddaughter loves it! Has helped with getting her to feel good about potty training. It has a real magnetism for toddlers.

my daughter will be 2 in july.. and she just loves this movie.. i didnt think she was ready to be potty trained just yet.. but id have to say after watching it acouple times it makes her want to go and use the big potty..im proud of her.. 2 thumbs up for this dvd

These people are a fraud beware They will give you a bunch of excuses and never follow threw. Whatever you do don't pay them unless you use paypal or a reg credit card. They are crooks,lairs and useless to the world. I have other people who have been screwed by these people who have contact me and we are all going after them. It's funny to them to take the money you work for and then they make promises they don't keep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL I'M ON A MISSION TO SHUT THEM DOWN AND SO ARE ABOUT 33 OTHER PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE TRUST ME

the dvd was very plan it neither disliked or liked i fell it will help and i see a little improvment.

This is a really cute movie! My 3 year old loves it and I think it actually might work in helping to train her. The songs are cute! We bought based on a rave review from a friend and I look forward to the success I see ahead! : )

I decided to buy this DVD because I want to try and potty train my daughter. I have tried contacting the seller several times and I get nothing but an automatic generated e-mail. I have called and all I get is an answering machine and no return call.

There was nothing I could do to get my daughter to go on the toliet. She would sit and sit. I would load her with liquids and still nothing she waited for the diaper. Then I got this video and immediately after that she was going potty on the toliet with minimal accident. I absolutely recommend this product it works!!!!

Creative entertaining approach to a sometimes difficult topic to present to toddlers. Unlike the book you can't substitute the words you choose for your child to use for body parts and functions.
