Omega Boost (PlayStation, 1999)

This is one of the PS 1 games that is still worth playing nowadays. controls pretty simple and fluid. lots of variations with enemy robots. it's just that I've played this game back in the days using the ps1 unit and a standard def TV. I don't have my ps1 unit anymore so I played it with my PS3 unit and on HDTV i which the graphics are not that good when you play it on high def. lots of pixelations. to sum up, it still a nice game to play. I hope they make a sequel to it.

Amazing game, this was one of the last games of psx generation that pushed the system to the limits. Made by the same team that did the gran turismo series this game has lots of action and great graphics.

This game is for the play station and it is a great shooter type game it's lodes of fun and has lots of bossies. It is very sci-fie bound game with lots of robots .

Arrived quickly, game works. No hassles other than no case, though I do believe that was stated in the transaction. Will look into ordering more from this person.

Imagine the style of Macross mixed with gameplay similar to Virtual-On and Starfox, and you get Omega Boost, and it's great. The mech and enemy designs look stellar, the graphics are very impressive for PS1, and the full-motion-video cutscenes are just awesome. Each (giant!) boss and each type of enemy requires a different tactic to defeat, which means the gameplay never gets dull (perhaps until you've beat the entire game). Essentially, this is a fast-paced arcade style flying mech shooter that has had plenty of polish to everything, even the loading screen is cool! If you like mech games, especially if you enjoyed playing Virtual-On, then you'll love this game. And since it usually goes for less than a dollar, it's certainly worth the money!
