Pros: I really enjoy this camera a lot. A lot of different options to improve your pictures. Very easy to use. You don't need to be a pro, this camera do the work for you. Highly recommended.

Awesome camera, this is my third olympus and I don't think I will ever buy another brand. Perfect pictures, easy to operate and many extra features. I'm sure I will only buy Olympus in the future and I will buy from Beach Cameras.

After dropping an earlier version of the Olympus Stylus on a hard floor, damaging the internal lenses, I opted for this new model. The ease of macro focusing, the variety of adjusting frame and flash and panorama settings, and the range of features remain excellent. Lighter and thinner than many predecessors, the sturdy 9000 sports a whopping 10x 28-280mm zoom, a USB 2.0 high-speed picture card reader, user-friendly 2.7-inch HyperCrystal III LCD, dual image stabilization, and face detection technology that make this a terrifically high-utility camera in a small, durable package. Optional tabletop tripod, Digital Image Recovery Software, the rechargeable LI-50B Lithium-ion battery, and the storage wallet for multiple memory cards add to the capability of the 9000.

The camera is okay. It does what they say in the description, but the battery life is severally limited. In addition, the 10x zoom is only good if you have it on a tripod. Otherwise, the shake in the image does not allow a good picture. I do like the night time pictures. They have turned out excellent even though I have read other reviews that were less than flattering. If you need a good camera that will give good pictures, this is it. However, I also have a Stylus 1010 and actually get better pictures at distance or at 7x zoom with less blur. One other positive for this camera is the multiple image panoramic. I think this is an amazing feature and have used it in doors and outside and I love the quality of the panoramic.

I am buying for the second time from hotdigital. It was a great experience first time but second time there were few hassles. I didn't get the complete kit first time. After letting them know about missing items, they overnighted the missing items. But this time I got wrong memory card compared to the one advertized. They were out of stock for SanDisk cards but then promptly refunded the card money back to my account.
It was a good experience overall and I appreciate hotdigitals sending missing items by next day UPS

Mostly awesomeThis camera was an amazing upgrade from my previous Olympus. I opted for this model due to the 10X zoom. The reviews I read all said good things about the image quality as well, which I agree with for the most part.
The only downfall of this camera is shooting in low-light settings. The less light, the more noise that appears in the photos.

Amazing CameraThis is the most amazing 'little' camera I have ever owned! It's so simple to use and the quality of the photos...oh my gosh! I know more about my Olympus Stylus 9000 in the short time I have had it than I do my 8 megapixel SLR I have had for 3 years!
As a graphic designer I will always have a need for my SLR, but my Olympus will get more use. It even fits in my purse!
I purchased an 8 gig card for this camera at the point of purchase and I am so glad I did. It has lots of room for video and super high res photos (12 meg!).

I am a Realtor and I purchased this camera because of the wide angle lens. It is not as wide of a view as my SLR but I love the compact size and the quality of photos are great. I love the panorama function, both inside the camera and with the included software and there is no distortion on the straight line edges. I highly recommend this camera and the price is great!

Olympus Stylus 9000 12.0 MegapixelIncredibly Amazing Camera.....My (may he rest in peace) was an amateur photographer. He worked for USM Corp for 43 years and he was the one they called on to document every gathering that happened from Golf, Tennis, Bowling leagues to expansions, dignatary visits to retirement parties. So you might say I got the bug too. I trully wish he were here today to see the amazing things that have happened in 20 short years.
Needless to say I was ecstatic to find this camera. I don't think there is anything it can't do. Okay, it can't change it's battery or click it's own picture.
