What little it lacks in actual image quality, as the first reviewer stated ( I disagree )it more than makes up for when you consider that it can pose as a hockey puck! The thing is tough. I am in the process of replacing this unit and thats how I found this.. so I decided to chime in. It is excllent for anyone that has an outdoor lifestyle and wants to share the vistas with his or her fellow man... or woman. Great for water and rainy/snowy days. He loves it because it is durable, waterproof, small, light and so amazing. It takes movies and pictures with great quality and with ease. The memory is good and can be added onto as well. He was a very happy birthday boy and continues to take the camera with him everywhere. We also got it for a significant savings at Ebay over local stores. Unfortunately the seller put a different much less expensive camera in the box, then claimed that FedEx or my apt. mgr. must have swapped it. Please!
