I bought this camera for my sister. 10 MP is HUGE, though I like the 10 MP quality, I like the option to choose the resolution (which saves memory). Camera is slim and has a fast refresh rate for the big display screen.
'Best Shot' (I think it's called) is a great feature, face detection is useless unless you have the option to only take pictures when a smile is detected.
The camera turns on almost instantaneously (>= 1sec) & is ready to take a picture. The screen is bright and very customizable. It does have tripod support.
Only thing I don't like is the UI (user interface) is a little hard to get used to. Advanced features aren't something you could easily figure out without the manual. The UI is very speedy however.
Overall, I must say this camera is classified as a "Bangin' Cam" (a very good camera.) Great for vacations, parties, trips, and basic photography.

I bought the Olymupus Stylus 1040 a couple of months ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive camera. The camers's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that it was very difficult saving pictures to the SD-rom. Other cameras I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the camera it fits into anyone's budget.

It looked like a good camera for a cheap price with good megapixels that would be a good buy. The product was also considered brand new and it looked like that when it arrived. It was wrapped up correctly to ensure that no damage would be done to it while it was being delivered. I would definitely do business with the seller again

Great condition, great looking camera, works wonderfully, but sender forgot to send the USB and Audio/Video cable. Honest mistake and when I emailed him he apologized and has them shipped overnight for no charge. Great seller and has wonderful speed in sending items! Thanks!
