Olympus SP-510 UZ 7.1 Megapixel

Great Camera!!! Image stabilization is very impressive. The camera has a lot of features for the money and has super print quality.

I bought the Olympus auxiliary lenses for it and was even more amazed. I had tried the after market wide and tele lenses for it but they do not even come close to the OEM auxiliary lenses so don't be fooled. Buy the OEM lenses.

The camera feels good in my hands while not being heavy and cumbersome. The zoom range is great!!! I get sharp pictures even zoomed all the way out!

All the buttons are easy to manipulate and easily figured out. I can even manually focus this camera when I'm trying to take pictures of fireworks and other things in dark settings where any autofocus would struggle. VERY USEFUL FEATURE.

The view screen/monitor is clear and bright even in the sun where other screens disappear in the bright light.

This is my 7th Olympus point and shoot camera and probably as close to a DSLR as a person can get. Each model has unique features so I've kept them all so far. I'll be stepping up the the DSLR Olympus soon.

The quality of the Olympus images is beyond amazing. My Sony/Canon/Nikon DSLR friends are all jealous of my pics that I get with my little Olympus Point and Shoot cameras. I've converted a few to Olympus so far and I'm working on the rest. The ones that didn't believe me wish they had after they bought their kodaks and sonys.

I also matched this up with the Olympus P-10 photo printer and I get better pictures than any photo lab can print even with conventional 35mm film and paper. I use to work in a pro lab for 14 years and this is the best product combination that has come out since digital imaging started. The cost per print is comparable materially but I don't have to go anywhere to print my pics. I can print in the convenience of my own home on my own time. GO OLYMPUS!!!

this camera is durable as well as excellent in imagery. i love the 10x zoom and the quality of the video

My SP-510 UZ, which was purchased from the eBay store, has proven to be unreliable and has brought much disappointment with missed photo opportunities because of camera malfunctions. The camera, which was refurbished to begin with, has already been returned twice for two different failures. I took only three pictures before the camera has failed a third time - with the same ailment that it was just in the shop for recently. The sale price was not much below the standard retail price, and that minor savings has been eaten away by the return shipping cost for repairs - which has not been re-imbursed as promised. I advise everyone to stay away from Olympus. I am going to trash can this, supposedly new, camera and write off a major loss. A very disappointing experience and many unreplaceable photos have been missed. I plan to go to a reliable camera store and purchase a Canon!

this is a great camera, very easy to use. It takes great photos and the zoom is an added bonus. It is simple enough to use for the beginner, but has enough features to keep more serious photographers. This is the best digital camera I have ever owned.

I already have this camera and I bought an additional one for my husband. It is great because it not only takes excellent photos but you can also shoot 30 minutes of video.

I Think it does everything that you could want in a camera. Different shooting modes & Movies with sound.
Great pictures too.
Light weight and easy to use.
Nothing I don't like about it. Other than I'm left handed and they don't
make much of anything for left handed people.

I like this camera this is my first Digital Camera and has all the options any average person would want and then some...Great for E-bayer's to the Family Vaction Camera-- Great optic's..I like the Flower 2 setting for close-up E-bay Pic's--The xD Card is the best---
