The FE-5000 are compact digital cameras designed to offer both high picture quality and easy operation. Taking, viewing, or deleting pictures is now easier than ever. Both cameras feature a 5X optical zoom lens supported by Olympus's advanced dual image stabilization function which combines a CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism with high-sensitivity shooting to prevent picture blur due to camera shake or subject movement. Simply setting the mode dial to "i-AUTO", Intelligent Auto automatically analyzes the imaged scene to determine its type and applying optimum settings, making users relax and take pictures without worrying about selecting the right type of scene or setting even in conditions that conventional auto modes find difficult to handle.
