Olympus DS-50 (1024 MB) Handheld Digital Voice Recorder

I am a court reporter and record all types of proceedings. The Olympus DS-50 is a REMARKABLE digital recorder. I had borrowed one from a fellow reporter just to "try it out". Was SO impressed that I had to have my own. Of course eBay was the best place to get one.

This little recorder has great range, super clear playback and holds many files. You can just carry it in your pocket! Would recommend it for anyone needing to record anything -- from auditorium size to small office size. It has the ability to pick up all sound, and exclude the background noises you don't need!

This thing is great. i use it for meetings, interviewing people and just general reminders. Everyone should have one.

I need to record many conversation, my ownes, and others (discretly if you know what i mean), some are crowded and some just clean conversations. I have 2 Denpa recorders, 2 Sony ICD-SX68, 1 Olympus WS-321M, And I just got this beauty DS-40. It has all the features you'll ever need on a personal or spy recorder!! The sound quality is the best, the feature personalization is perfet for the ocasion, recording level, sensitivity (losts of options), recording timer (the best for me, no othe recorder has it), sound quality. The recordings you get are crisp and you'll never loose a conversation again.

Awesome recorder. Picks up sound easily to record preaching, lectures etc. Very easy to operate. Even talks! Excellent price. Just can't say enough!

video quality is good, but still shot quality is poor.
sometimes hangs and you need to restart it, but otherwise a perfectly lovable item.
I'm happy with it!
