Olympus CAMEDIA D 560 Zoom 3.2 Megapixel

This camera is very easy to use. Also it takes excellent pictures. LIghtweight. Very well made. Excellent product

This camera takes great pictures. I also purchased a underwater housing & use it for scuba. Works GREAT.
Camera takes 2 AA Batteries. Camera went through batteries like crazy & with flash I would only get a couple of pictures before the camera was flashing that battery was low. I then purchased the Energizer 2500 Nimh High Capacity Rechargable Batteries. I can take a lot of pictures with the flash now. I have just purchased Duracell 2650 & will be seeing if I get even more time.
I wish they had mentioned this in their Owners Manual it would have saved me from purchasing a lot of extra batteries. I even tried Nimh 1900 capacity batteries at 1st this was also disapointing. I had another Olympus Camera & it used 4 AA batteries. This always seem to have battery power to spare.

I have owned a Olympus Camera for several years. When my new grandson was born, my camera was knocked off the table and broke the facing. I looked at other cameras but my heart came back to this camera. It's small enough to put in your pocket and takes excellent pictures. A friend suggested to go to ebay for a replacement. I tried several times to get another camera to just get parts. Finally I was able to get the replacement and didn't have to repair the broken one. I got the camera and several Xcards to go with it. Wherever we go the camera goes. I've taken hundreds of pictures at Weddings with it. You know mostly the type pictures that a professional want get.
Why did I decide to buy this camera? Our children gave us money for our anniversary and we went looking, looking and looking. We stopped at Electronic Express and of all the cameras we looked at, we kept coming back to this one.
The only thing that I would like more is that my camera had more pixel.
I don't usually do surveys or reviews but I liked this product well enough to tell about it.

I broke my D 560 and decided to get another so I luckily found one on E Bay. It takes very sharp pics (only 3.2 megapixels), surprising sensitive in low light, runs great on my lithium rechargeables. Perfect for snapshots. By today's standards, has been outdone my many newer models but used and cheap it's a great camera.

My first digital camera. I bought this one, over other brands, because of the slider lens cover. I looked at the other brands, like Sony, and Cannon, but really didn't like the style. As for ease of use, I rate this one to be among the easiest. I did try out brands whenever I was in WalMart, or other stores that carried other brands. The screen may seem small compared to other ones, of this time frame, but as for me, it was good enough. To turn the camera on, all you need to do is slide the lens cover. Which I think is a good safety feature, but not everyone will like this, as compared to other cameras out on the market. You can view what is stored, on the xd card, by just pushing the quick view button, and then pushing the left or right buttons. As for the movie feature, I have not used it. The battery compartment, and the xd card compartment, are in two seperate compartments, which, after seeing other cameras that put them both in the same compartment, I think that I prefer this style. I have heard other cameras that have had problems with the cover not closing properly, or that you could not get the card to lock into place, after the battery was installed, or vice versa. The one area that I have problems with is the zoom button. I don't like the placement. I think that it should had been put on the inside of the picture button, and not on the outside. I gave this an overall rating of good, because I don't think there will ever be an excellent camera, in order to satisfy, even just one person. If you ever get your hands on one of these, please give it a try. I think you will be surprised...

Like the size, great pictures, fun zoom, and a little motion picture action also. It was a gift and now I'm buying a used one, my lcd screen was broken by my abuse, but still takes great pictures, just have to download to see the product. Used it for over three years. Delay with flash a negative.

This camera takes good pictures and is easy to use. It is a good camara and the price was right! The only thing I don't like about it is that when the button is pushed th take the picture, ther is a slight hesitation. I know this is common in most camaeras of this price level, but it still bothers me. Over all it is a good product and I recomended it for a good basic camera.

This camera has at least a 15-20 second delay after the picture is taken and saved to the card...The LCD screen goes black and you can not take another shot for that 15+ seconds. This does not sound long, but when taking pictures of children, underwater, or just wanting to take a quick shot of something it is a long time. It is not as long if you do not use the flash. This happened even using the CRV3 batteries that olympus reccomends. If you do not mind that the camera is fine. Takes good pictures and has some great functions. I do know that the D580 and D540 do not have this problem. We actually got the Stylus 500 instead and we love it!!!

This camera makes excellent photos! Good price.
The underwater housing is good choice with the lower price.
The camera went through batteries quickly.

I bought this camera so that I will have the option of uploading data to a development store and only have to go into the store to pick up pictures, instead of making one trip to drop them off and another pick them up. The camera was in good condition, takes good pics but there was no instruction manual, no cords, the memory card was outdated and I can only get prints if I go into a store because the card does not fit into any computer and I cannot find any cords to fit the camera. Basically it was a waste of money because I have to buy a new camera or just continue to use my camera that requires film.

I took a chance on the camera by the description. hoping i will be able to fix it and I was in luck. I fixed it. I loved the price it was a little scratched but it was worth it for the price. I definately will risk it again. actually I have done it on several of them. so far I am 3 out of 4 good. Yeah!!

Great camera for the money in light of the fact that it's a model that's now a couple of years old. Mine served me well for a long time.

This P.O.S. camera didn't work properly and was a total rip off. This seller is not to be trusted PERIOD!!! Only after he avoided me and I finally left negative feedback and registered a complaint with ebay did he respond. DO NO TRUST THIS TURD!!!

The listing was honest and the shipping was reasonable. They told what was wrong with the camera with pictures to show damage. It was good as I knew what I needed was still in good working condition. The title included the model of camera which is how I did the search - was very helpful finding this camera.

I have used one of these daily for the past 5 years shooting 75-150 pictures a day in an auto appraisal business. Grear camera-easy to use and easy on batteries with the option of using the viewfinder or the led screen. I dropped the former many times and wore out the door but it never failed to continue working until the last drop that broke off the opening drive pin. A great camera and a joy to use.

When I dropped my original Olympus D 560 Zoom camera into the salty ocean,
I felt so mad that I deciced to turn to eBay to see if they had an identical one;they did just happen to have an identical one which had a recently established bid.

I immediately started my bidding and got my bid for only thirty dollars.The method of bidding was user friendly.The original cost of this camera about six years ago was about $ 300.00.

I was very excited when the camera came to my door as it did arrive within ten days as stipulated.

I opened the well-wrapped package and everything that was supposed to be included was included.

As I spent the next few days working with the camera,I discovered that everything worked as it was supposed to.No problem at all!

I have been using this camera since I received it and it functions perfectly.

I never thought I would get a replacement but eBay came through like a champ!

Easy to use camera! This is my first digital camera ( I know its 2008!) and it is very easy to use and dow I dont have to keep rewinding the camera to take another picture. Great price!

I have owned one of these for several years, used it on a trip to Canada. It took wonderful pics. Easy to use, great pics. I would sugguest this camera to anyone looking for a good digital camera.

I love the size and ease of use of this camera, and the overall 10X zoom (with both the digital and optical). I also like the expandability of the memory. Dislikes: time between pushing the button and getting the picture seems long, and the noise during zooming is loud. I decided to buy it because I had borrowed one belonging to my roommate, and liked it a lot. Then the roommate (and the camera) moved, and I needed one of my own. I recommend using rechargeable batteries - AA rechargables are readily available at a reasonable price.
