Olympus C-2020 Digital Camera

For an older camera, I was amazed at the construction and features this camera has. Solid design, professional type features, yet user friendly. Real good picture quality for a 2.1 megapixel. The program setting makes it easy for the young/new photographer by letting the camera do all the exposures and settings. However for the more experienced photographer the camera can be manual adjusted, changing settings like the ISO and Exposure. White balancing, spot metering and a bracketing option are some of the other features offered in this camera. The camera can be setup to shoot panorama and record video. What more could one ask for. Fantasic little Camera.

) I went to Hawaii in the year 2000, and wanted a small camera with a little zoom. It was my first digital. I took pictures of some flowers at night, with only the night lights of the hotel (I didn't use the flash)and I couldn't believe that the picture actually looked the same as it did viewing it with my own eyes! No other camera I used did this for me.
When I purchased it at a camera store, I compared it to another model, and got the Olympus due to the true white-balance it had compared to the other camera where the white looked more yellow. Sometimes I can get decent action pics with it, but this isn't really for that purpose; it can be a little slow. Apparently it has an IR capability which I didn't realize until I read about it from someone else on ebay.
Everything on this camera still works just the same as when I bought it. The only thing I had to replace was the rechargeable batteries, but can still use the new rechargeable batteries with the battery charger that came with the camera-that still works perfectly too.
