Product Information
Unbelievably light! the ultra-light Magnitude series by Okuma is one of the world's only magnesium fly reels. This fresh-water range of both traditional and large arbor reels weighs in at about half the weight of it's aluminum counterparts. The cast magnesium reels are treated with a four-coat process for a durable and elegant powdercoat finish. The MD range of traditional disc drags uses our venerable stainless steel and Teflon disc drag system. The drag is controlled by a one-way roller bearing which allows for drag free retrievals. The ML range of large arbor reels feature Okuma's patented overbuilt, oversized stainless steel based disc drag. This amazing drag has little to no initial resistance with incredible high-end drag pressure. Again, the drag is controlled by an oversized roller bearing allowing for drag free retrievals.
