Oils, Lotions & Other Luxuries by Kelly Reno (1996, Hardcover)

There was a time in my past that I thought I might want to start making lotions and other potions to give as gifts and, perhaps, to sell. I bought 2 of Kelly Reno's books to get me started. They were just what I needed. In a very short time, I became intimately familiar with all sorts of ingredients from drug store regulars to exotic perfume oils and scents. The book is well developed with simple instructions. Things to make range from lotions, creams, moisturizers,oils, things for the bath, for the face, colognes & fragrances, and others including gift wrapping ideas. If you have the slightest interest in dabbling in potions, this is a great place to start. If there is down-side at all, it would be that finding some of the ingredients requires some work on your part. Overall, it is just the ticket for a novice potion maker.
