This book is such a hit with my 7 year old- from how boogers are made to how shrunken heads were made... Oh, Yuck is an awesome book with a multitude of knowledge and questions answered!!!

I goth this for a Christmas present for two pre teen boys. They loved it and loved sharing the information they learned. They were excited to actually read something they could relate to. I would reccomend it to anyone looking for a book for young boys to read and learn more about thier bodies, the important things such as snot.

I bought this book for my grandson cause he just loves things that are yucky! It is a Christmas gift so I don't know how he will like it but looking at it I know he will it is really Yucky and informative and I know is going to be very enjoyable for him.. I say if you like facts and have boys a great way to get them to read!

I bought this book for my nephew on his birthday. It was the center of the attencion and all the kids wanted to learn more out of the book.
I love this book because it has a lot of imformation and it helps to answer most of the questions the kids ask that we as a parents don't know.I love the pictures too, they help the kids to undestand better and leater remember what they have learn.
I'm giving Excellent Rating to this book because I know my nephew hade learn and hade so much fun reading it than other books.

This book is so gross...your kids won't be able to put it down. They'll have NO IDEA they're actually learning science! (Insert sinister laugh!) You simply must have Masoff's other book, Oh, Yikes! They'll willingly and unwittingly devour history, too! The grandparents will be so impressed with your little geniuses...only YOU have to know the truth! Wa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!

I'm so glad I bought this gift early. I have been flipping through the pages often. It is very interesting even for the adults. I can't wait to give it to my daughter. She loves to read about trivial things, fun details, and just plain gross stuff.

I bought this title as a gift for my cousin who is 9. He loved it. It is kinda gross, but insiteful and it gets him to read, and enjoy reading!

I love this kind of stuff. For some reason, I am a bevy of useless knowledge, so this was right up my alley. I found three other cool books for kids, The Dangerous Book for Boys, The Daring Book for Girls and DUH! Stupid History of the Human Race

I purchased this book to assist my 7th grade students during portfolio development. They loved the interesting topics of the articles... especially the boys! The examples throughout the book are in alphabetical order for easy access. They are delightfully funny and disgusting, but very concrete examples to follow. A must-have for all writing teachers.

As a seventh grade teacher, I am always looking for books that my students will get interested in, especially nonfiction books! This book is a MUST for any parent of a reluctant reader or a teacher, especially at the middle school level. The author of this book makes the most mundane topics interesting and uses language that kids can understand. She uses humor to keep you entertained as you read. Each section of the book is thorough without going on too long and making the reader lose interest. The author also does a great job of cross-referencing, so that you know what sections might also be of interest to you as you read about a particular topic. In addition to the great writing, there are great charts and illustrations, as well as photos! I cannot say enough great things about this book. Buy it today-- you will not be sorry!

I am an owner and director of a child care center where we have both preschoolers and schoolage children. The schoolage children are, at times, harder to keep busy. I purchased this book mainly because I have alot of boys in my schoolage classroom and they are always talking about and looking for gross things! They love this book. It not only talks about the gross things they already know about, but talk about all new gross things they never thought of!
