The Official Scrabble Players Dictionary by Merriam Webster (2005, Paperback, Large Print)

I enjoy playing Scrabble and have wanted to purchase this book for some time now. The book, in large print, is just exactly what I wanted -- and more. I will get much enjoyment from this book for many years to come. A very good value!!

This dictionary works for me & others that play scrabble. Was surprised at how large the words actually are v.s. going into my regular dictionary and having to practically use a magnifying lens to read words. Is a good, fast, way to reference words, spellings.

Easy to read and up-to-date with all the "newest" Scrabble words. Makes playing easier, especially with those of us who need glasses to read.

The dictionary arrived safely in excellent condition. It was in new condition with a black magic marker mark on the top of the pages to represent, I'm guessing, something that must of been discontinued somewhere or not to be sold at a retailer. It was described to me correctly except for the black magic marker mark. It didn't make any difference to me because I was using it for personal uses but if I were to give it as a gift, it wouldn't of been so great. The dictionary is big in size with large lettering which was perfect for me because my vision isn't as good as it used to be and I didn't need to use reader glasses to read it. The rating I gave this item should be between good and excellent because it was excellent for me but maybe, good to someone that would of bought it for someone else as a gift.

The book itself is larger than I had imagined. However, it has been used a great deal with our new family game of "Bananagrams"
