Good book for beginners
Review created: 10/05/09(updated 10/05/09)
I am a beginner numismatist and found this book to be very well written. I am not a big book reader, but this book is written so down to earth that it makes learning aout all the different errors and varieties interesting while managing to accurately describe them along with picture every few pages. By the time I was done with this book I knew what to look for when roll searching and which errors are worth money and which errors aren't. It also does a good job explaining machine doubling and why it is worthless and not considered as part of the minting process. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about coin errors and what they might be worth.
