For some 30 years now there's been only one source of authoritative information on comics and their current market value. This is it. If you have even a modest-sized collection you'll want this book to assess what your comics may be worth. Aside from that it's fun to browse through all the great covers. One complaint is the overabundance of dealer ads, many of which seem to say the same thing: "I'll buy your comics at the best price around." Enough already. This print version is much better than the pdf electronic version, by the way. That one is just too laborious to use.

It is a great guide with lots of information on the different ages of comic books. I liked that they were put in specific gruops which made it easier to find what your looking find (i.e. platinum, golden age) this guide has been printed continually for awhile now, trust it completely.

The one and only - This is it, for 36 years Overstreet is the one guide book series for comic collecting and pricing. They are the experts, the best of the best, The prices in this guide are compiled of information on sales and demand collected from nearly every comic book retailer in the country... The experts who work on this book not only give pricing info but also much usfull info on everything from how to store, preserve and collect your comics to what makes a comic book a comic book... a must have for any comic book fan!!!!!!!!

Overstreet Comic Book Price GuideThis is the book that everyone uses to decide the value of comic books. Without it, I couldn't even figure out which version of a comic book I had, let alone the value.
Now I can find the title, artist, writer, date, version and value of my comics based on the grade of the comic. Other books leave out the grade which is a huge mistake. Overstreet shows you what your comic is worth if it's average, or if you were one of those wise young souls who kept everything neatly stored away, how valuable your old comic is in near mint condition. The difference can be hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
No matter what you have to spend to buy an Overstreet guide, its worth it.

it is the comic book guide for ererything old and knew.i found myself immersed
in the different ways especially dell comics are catagorized. the one i got was in new shape with no tears or markings.i appreciate the time it took to research and list all the various era's of the comic book world.i reccommend it to anyone yhat is into comics as i am.

) i bought this book because i wanted a something to give me an idea of what comic books are worth . i didnt wanna pay 40 bucks for the new one so for less than 2 bucks i have a great place where i can get a good idea of what comics are worth
