Office Space (DVD, 1999)

This film depicts the life of an ordinary office worker whose life is reset to simply not care anymore. It's so easy to identify with this movie, which is what makes it so hilarious. Written to perfection, it's obvious that the material was carefully researched, right down to the paper jamming copy machine. Slacking off has never looked so good!

There is really nothing else to be said, but if you do not like this movie... you are a terrorist.

This is the story of a man who hates his job. This man decides he wants to get fired, so he slacks-off, Steals, and comes to work without pants - and gets exactly what is coming to him --- A Premotion, and Jennifer Aniston for a girlfriend...

For those of us who have worked in an office environment, this is a perfect movie. The characters are dynamic and have their own individual personalities. The struggle is one man's idea that he shouldn't have to work anymore. He and his three friends decide to run a virus on the company computer which would deduct money into an account...however, something goes wrong.

This is for sure a 5 out of 5 movie. Although the critics weren't thrilled on it's release, it has become a cult classic and favorite among Generation X.

Milton...He is one of the craziest characters of all time. He loves his stapler very much. Remember that!

Hilarious movie period, while truthful at the same time. A must for everyone, especially for anyone who has ever worked for a large corporation. Incredible characters, no dull moments. Does not get as much credit as it deserves. It takes a lot to make me laugh and this movie fit the bill. You will want to watch it over and over because you will notice new funny parts/lines each time you see it. A comical masterpiece.

Just one of the great classics. A movie that can never be watched just once and notice new things every time.

This movie is all of the things you wish you could do in your cubicle. If you haven't worked in an office in a cubicle, fear not, you will still be thoroughly entertained by this. Of course if you have worked in a cubicle farm and gone through a merger, this movie will be incredible. This is the dream of anyone stuck within cubicle walls 40 hours (at least) per week and if you've ever lost a Saturday for "suggested" overtime work, you'll want to buy this as I did. This movie was a cult classic, but deserved to be seen by everyone, you'll enjoy it.

This is one of the funniest movies around. You have to own one. I have a copy. If you work in corporate america, you have to watch this. I only wish I watched this in the theatre when it first came out. The movie pokes fun at middle management and the nature of corporate politics. You should see how he gets promoted. The cast is hilarious. You will end up buying Office Space buttons, staplers and tps reports after you watch the movie. Highly recommened A++++++++++.

Office Space is a hyper-exaggerated analysis of the day-to-day life of cubicle mongers. It hits dead on a suprising number of times if you've ever worked in one of these hell-holes. There are enough characters in this film to make you go "yup - he works down the isle from me". Also rips on the lives of restaurant service workers seeking enough "flair" in their lives. Brilliant film - hope they go thru with the threat to do Part II.

This is the funniest movie ever. It is about the real life in corporate America. Whoever worked in a cubicle ever in their lives will correlate to this movie.

How can you not love this movie? For me, it was one of those movies that the first time I saw it I didn't quite get the humor as I was watching it because of the mellow "humdrum" office style feel it has to it, but it quickly grew on me. So many parts that are great conversation pieces. I have since watched it many many more times and have not grown tired of it. Timeless, honest humor. Just perfect. And Ron Livingston really pegged the part of Peter. No one else could've played it so well, but it may have typecast him... Now I can't see him as anyone but Peter Gibbons.
