Cinderella Redux

I loved this book. I was a bit skeptical over the retelling of the Cinderella story, and in one or two places I thought the similarity was a bit forced, but Julia Quinn writes such fun novels it was a great way to spend a few hours.
I was hooked from the start where our heroine, an illegitimate child of the aristocracy, is dumped on her father's doorstep and passed off as his ward. She grows up in a loveless home, and hopes things will be better when her father remarries, but instead she gets a wicked stepmother. She meets one of the Bridgerton boys, Benedict, and they fall in love. The story that evolves from that is funny, sweet, and touching.
I believe this is book 3 of the Bridgerton series and I have enjoyed every one of them.
