Offbeat Bride by Ariel Meadow Stallings (2006, Paperback)

I bought this book after finding the Offbeat Bride online community. I got engaged a few months ago and knew I wouldn't be planning an ordinary wedding. And its reassuring to know that you're not the only one to do so. Ariel's book is great, including her planning and execution of her hippie-raver-hula hooping wedding, as well as tips from other brides. I would recommend it to any future bride who was bored at the last average wedding they went to, and wants their day to truly reflect who they and their fiance are.

I bought this book for my soon-to-be bride because we are planning a gothic-style wedding on the beach. While I would have been more impressed with a few example pictures included in the pages, it is still a very good book that anyone willing to step off the beaten path for their wedding would be interested in.

I bought this book because I couldn't relate to the traditional wedding planning books on the market. Offbeat Bride is for women who want to make their wedding a unique experience that may not necessarily conform to the customs of the traditional wedding ceremony and reception.
