Odyssey DF990 Putter Golf Club

I bought my DF990 BRAND NEW in 1996 and used it for 10 years up until 2006. If you are thinking about purchasing this putter, you should do it. Granted, I paid around $90 for mine when it was brand new, but I've seen these on Ebay for under $10 recently. This is definitely a good quality putter that is also a good performer. ESPECIALLY for the price! It is VERY easy to line your putts up with this putter. The ball comes off the face with a lot of feel for a club of this caliber too. And with the perimeter weighting, even mis-hits come off OK. I really like the roll I got out of this club and I actually had a hard time taking it out of my bag so I could replace it with my new White Hot #8 blade, but if you are considering purchasing this club, go for it. You will not regret it as this is a quality made putter that performs just as good as the $200 putters. A lot of golfers wont agree with this, but its the truth.

For starters, the Odyssey putters are very expensive if you were to go to your local pro shop to purchase one. I found this Odyssey DF990 putter here on ebay, and saved myself a load of cash. While I was waiting for the UPS truck to stop at my house, I got to thinking, what could be wrong with it ?. When it was delivered, I looked it over real good and found it to be in slightly used condition (to be expected), but very useable. That day I met my golfing partner at the local course, and as we were teeing off on the first whole, I pulled out my Odyssey putter and showed it to him. When I told him how much I paid for it he could not believe I got such a bargain. That same night on the last hole, I made two wonderful shots to be on the green in two on a par 5. When I pulled out my slightly used Odyssey putter, my partner said," OK, its time to see if that putter really works"). From about 20 feet, with about a 4 foot right to left break, I put the ball in the cup for an EAGLE. WOW!!. The moral of the story is, I couldn't be happier with the Odyssey putter that I bought on ebay. I decided to search ebay for an Odyssey putter because the pro shops want an arm and two legs for the same thing. Granted, it would have been new, but you need your legs to golf and the one I got on ebay for such a bargain was already experienced. Thanks ebay.
