Top Reviews 3 of 11 people found this review helpful. The book was falsely advertised by seller tam062476. Was a book club edition and was advertised as brand new first edition hard cover. Very poor communication and a rip off artist. Would not recommend this seller to anyone. Seller should be banned from ebay for ripping people off. When I emailed seller about item I received no response. Review ID: 10000000007668131 Was this review helpful? Report this review Reviews Like the other Odd Thomas books, the story line in Odd Hours moves so quickly that it is difficult to put the book down- I read it in three days. Mr. Koontz does not use spirits who have yet to move on this time but instead Odd has to exclusively deal with the living this time out. Yet Mr. Koontz manages once again to weave as much mystery around the characters as ever. I enjoyed Odd Thomas and Brother Odd more because there was more humor and the author dwelt less on the villains than he does in Odd Hours. Nevertheless, it is a worthwhile read, even with the blatant ploy for a sequel. Review ID: 10000000008514525 Was this review helpful? Report this review Review created: 08/10/08 by: Odd Hours is nowhere near as good as the first two books in this series. It actually is worse than the third offering in the series. I was a fan of the first two Odd Thomas books. I felt the third was all right. This most recent book in the series totally let me down. Possibly the worst Koontz book that I've read. Should this seller have more I'd be happy to purchase the ones I don't have from him. Review ID: 10000000008305763 Was this review helpful? Report this review Review created: 08/06/08 by: Loved it!! It is a must read for everyone that loves Dean Koontz! I love the character Odd Thomas, his adventures are always so interesting. I can't imagine living with the power that he has, would be very "Odd". I truly hope that Mr. Koontz continues the series with his character, I would certainly enjoy reading more tales about Odd Thomas! Review ID: 10000000008230166 Was this review helpful?
