This is an excellent entertaining movie that has it all - the glitz and glamour of Vegas, the intriguing plot, the top notch director...and of course, lets not forget the all star cast!!
Led by George Clooney, this is full of A-listers...Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Carl Reiner, to name but a few! When you take the talent of this cast, the directorial skills of Steven Soderbergh and of course you are reworking a classic rat pack movie...you have a hit on your hands!
There is such a good movie, the plot was interesting, and had a number of great twists, going out with a boom with the final surprise in the plot! The reworking of the original is slick, especially updating the plot to include well known Vegas landmarks such as The Bellagio and The Venetian; and the attention to detail and the killer soundtrack help bring the feel of Vegas right into your living room!!
The premise is well known...Clooney - as Danny Ocean gets out of jail on a promise to behave but soon rounds up a group of 'talented' criminals with various expertise relating to criminal activity; to become 'Ocean's Eleven'. The goal: pulling off one of the biggest thefts in Vegas history not only to reep the multimillion dollar reward but Danny plans to win back his wife played by Julia Roberts who is dating the owner of the Casino, the role of which is expertly played by Andy Garcia!
The plot flows eloquently; with humor and intrigue throughout. The visuals are simply stunning, particularly towards the conclusion of the movie where the water show of the Bellagio, combines with expertly filmography and stellar music to provide a breathtaking scene!
This is a favorite of mine, and is the superior of the two recent Oceans movies...simply not to be missed and destined to become a classic!

Not Bad at All.... Although I like the Rat Pack's original version of this movie better.
An enjoyable flick, with good movie actors and good plot.
Now I understand there is an Ocean's 13 coming.... why is everything in a trilogy of movie series nowadays? Sheeshhh !!

Ocean's Eleven is one of the greatest movies I've ever seen for various reasons, one of which is the fact that it has every single hot guy in Hollywood in it! I love the action and the jokes! It's just a great movie!

I now have all 3 of the Ocean movies and all three are fair. With such great actors and actoresses I feal the story should have been better. This is not a movie I will watch over and over. I may resell all 3 movies.

i only needed one but thanks to the seller i was able to share the movie with someone who didnt have it . Who needs A movie case anyway? They all get lost or break these cd were brand New no stratches and ive watched both disks... WHEN YOU PUT THESE MANY STARS TOGETHER, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT. THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME. MR. CLOONEY AND MR. PITT ARE WONDERFUL TOGETHER. I ENJOYED SEEING BERNIE MAC IN A SEMI SERIOUS ROLE. EVEN THOUGH HE IS STILL COMICAL IN THIS FILM, YOU KNOW THAT HE IS ABOUT BUSINESS...GETTING THE JOB DONE. WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT MATT DAMON...I LOVED HIM IN THIS FEATURE. AND THE DON...I LOVE SEEING HIM IN ROLES OTHER THAN THE TOO SERIOUS. HE HAD A COMICAL SIDE TO HIM IN THIS MOVIE THAT MADE ME SMILE. THE ENTIRE CREW OF ACTORS REALLY MADE ROBBING A LAS VEGAS CASINO LOOK LIKE A LOT OF FUN, BUT I WON'T BE TRYING IT WHEN I RETURN TO VEGAS.
