I really find this book helpful. The pictures are very pretty and the text is self explanatory. I recommend it.

I wouldn't say I love the book or hate it because I honestly get more use out of lecture notes than out of textbook readings; however, when I did use the book it did give me a very detailed answer to most any question I had. The book covers all areas of Physical Oceanography territory from Astronomy to Ocean Currents. There were a few times when my professor said the author was either wrong or a tad bit off in his information/statements, but for the most part was correct.

I never got this item. I was able to purchase and initially be charged for this item even though the seller was unregistered. This was a huge inconvenience to me especially since half.com doesn't have phone support. I'll never use the site again.
