Obsession: Radical Islam's War Against the West (DVD, 2007)

Islam is a clear and present danger to our way of life. This DVD makes it abundantly clear in their own words. The entire DVD is comprised of quotes from the qu'ran overlaid with video of various muslim religious and political leaders reciting the same qu'ranic verses while exhorting their followers to hate and violence.

On viewing this film, I noticed that it contained a number of the same misconceptions and incorrect statements about Islam and Muslims that have been so ubiquitous. However, it also contained some very important truths about Islam and Muslims that were absent in the most important film on this subject, "Islam: What the West Needs to Know", including the disturbing connection between Islam and the Nazi movement of World War II. Therefore, while "Obsession" is definitely a 'must see', those who view it should learn all the truth about Islam first by reading the books of Robert Spencer (and, if they have the time, the books of other authors listed at www.jihadwatch.org). The truth is that Islam represents a much more serious threat to Western civilisation than either the Nazis movement of WW II or communism. As Robert Spencer has stated,"Islam is the only religion in the world that has a developed doctrine, theology, and law that mandates violence against non-believers". Muslim fundamentalists the world over intend to use violence, terrorism, and deception, as they are instructed by the Koran, to spread Islam until it is the only religion in existance and all of the countries of the world are Islamic states under Sharia (Islamic Law). This is why Americans and all the other countries of the West need to brush aside the fog of political correctness created and sustained by our government and the media and take a long, hard, objective look at the truth about Islam. To quote Iman Jafar Sadiq, the sixth Iman of Shia' Islam: "One, who exposes something from our religion, is like one who intentionally kills us. You belong to a religion that whosoever conceals it, Allah will honor him... and whosoever reveals it, Allah will disgrace (kill) him." One doesn't try to hide something that is good, respectable, just, and moral - only that which is so evil that it can not stand the light of day. This is why Muslims want to kill anyone who tries to question the Koran or examine their religion. They would rather kill other human beings who have done them no harm than to face the terrible faults and lies of their own religion. Americans owe it to themselves, to all of those whom they care for, to their belief in freedom and individual rights and to their country to learn the truth about Islam and take a firm stand against it. i liked the documentary, do you have more like it?? people need to really see how things are. I liked how the movie got into detail about how they are committing these acts, and why, it explains a lot, i think if people watch more of this, they may begin to understand some of how muslims think. I didnt dislaike any of it and in fact i would purchase more on the subject.

The movie was informative. It certainly goes into very graphic and welcome detail regarding the increasing threat we are facing.

Alot of people wrote down that they felt Islam was trying to destroy us simply because of their religion... but it's not that simple. Regardless of religion, people kill when their chips are down. Nazi Germany was 70% Protestant during WW2. That's Christianity.
Look closer and you'll see that WW1 left Germany's economy in shambles. That's what helped make Hitler popular over there. What I'm saying is that people aren't cannibals when there is enough to eat.
Anyone who wants an easy understanding as to what's going on over there should watch the movie "Charlie Wilson's War". It gives you an idea about how things were over there a couple decades ago, at least in Afganistan, and how desperate situations create desperate people. Consider it a homework assignment- but a fun one. Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Phillip Seymore Hoffman were in it. It cant be that bad...
Before you cast the first stone make sure you know who you're throwing it at.

Though this is a one sided documentary, it shows the extreme lifestyles of Islam and people associated with Islam. This film shows actual terrorist and terror plots not only in Iraq and neighboring countries, but on US and British sole. If you don't believe America has real threats, this video will show people willing to destroy every value and the way of life the west tries to promote or represents. Educate yourself on Islam and the Muslim culture. If you know a Muslim ask if the can read the Korean or Qur’an.

This is a hard hitting, fact filled documentary on the pending Radical Islamic threat to the world. Every free man, woman and child should see this DVD and be afraid, very afraid. The longer we wait to defend our way of life the longer we will have to fight to get back to where we are free once more.

Freedom is never free and they are out to take yours and mine and every other non-muslim. They want you, as a non-beliver, to be dead. No mercy, no excuses, no quarter. They believe God is commanding them to take your life.

Anyone that would sacrifice their own children to achieve this goal is going to be difficult to defeat.

Each of us better pay attention, they will come back to the USA, that is only a matter of time.

In an attempt to awaken a sleeping society, Obsession the Movie has focused on the true threat of Radical Islam. Most people are not aware of the roots of this ancient religion, and more importantly, people are not aware of their goals to annihilate everyone who doesn't agree with them. In this film, the writers document with pictures, documents and video footage, the undeniable mission that the Islamic Fascists are currently on. This film leaves no doubt about the ties of the Nazi and Islam Regimes, and what their common goal is: Wipe Israel off the map and then the rest of the world. You have to take just over an hour to view what I consider to be one of the most important documentaries of this generation. The threat is real and this movie proves it!!

Very enlightening especially the comparison to Hitler.
It is unfortunate that our existing representives, current running candidate Politicians, the bleeding hearts protesters and the News Media REFUSE to disclose this to the American public.
However brought back memories about my two year USA conscript Korean observation, and mournful experiences of the North Korean child soldiers
and I have been trying for 55 years to close that door in my life.

If you think this war in Iraq is about oil...think again. These radical muslims are on a mission...a mission from a god that that is apparently quite evil.

Watching the small children express their hate and disdain for Americans broke my heart. They were too young to develop this intent hate so it must have been taught to them by their parents.

I like the truth of what is portrayed in Obsession. I bought it because in order to be cognizant of life among the Islamists and their aims and teachings.

this was a very detailed dvd and i liked it very much. Scarey , but good information how America can be in big trouble against these people if we don't defend ourselves against them every day.

I thought this was an eye opener for all Public Safety agencies. It is formatted in such a manner that it can be utilized for Terrorism awareness lectures. I have used it for that purposes and have gotten excellent feedback. The producers did a great job and I recommended it to all who are involved in security and Law Enforcement.

I heard about this film and had to see it . It is a wake up call for all of us to heal the world and be the kind of people GOD wanted us to be brother to brother you see the true evil in the world it is not just their problem but all of ours start with the man in the mirror!!!!!!!

It told the facts concerning Islam's war against the West. Well put together, documented. It names names, places, historical facts, ties things together.

Afer several tries to get a DVD in US and Canada format I was finally able to show this to group. The result was the members were startled at first and as the days progressed the moved to being dumbstruck. If you can get the 77 minute version get it but settle for the 60 min if not. This is information the world needs to know and you need to know. Well done! This film has a sequel called "Third Jihad" and this continues to bring understanding. The narrators aare awesome and the filming is outstanding.

The DVD provides an information that every American, or any other freedom loving person should know.
The story is about radical Islam's war on civilized West. We don't hear much about it on the main stream media because of screwed up mentality of those who are providing us with information. If the fairy tales about "peaceful religion of Islam" will be told to American people for another couple dozens of years, our country will have big chances to stop its existence and be destroyed or have its government overrun by Islamic radicals.
