Oakley Half Jacket Xlj Sunglasses Replacement Lenses

First, let me say I have tried all the cheap sunglasses; department stores to roadside venders to flea markets. Figuring I lose them as soon as I buy them, why buy a $150 pair?
Nonetheless, I converted to the higher end (specifically, Oakley) after my eye doctor said my copious time in the California sun had begun a degenerative process. I have only two eyes and do not plan on moving to London or Seattle anytime soon. It also made sense that a cheap (non UV rated) pair could actually fool your pupils to dilate, allowing more UV in than the naked eye!
Oakley styling, sports bent, and resale value won me over. They protect my eyes while looking good. They do not fall of my face in the 108 deg F Fresno summers.
Polarized Black Iridium lenses shield me from the double dose of rays I get from my work on a fish farm. The Bronze Iridium Half Jacket Model with the rimless bottom half is perfect for my geezer softball league.
And because they cost so much, I am more diligent about putting them away, reducing the incidents of lost or steped on eyewear. I am also careful about wiping them with the special Microfiber cleaning bag instead of spit and a t-shirt. I have lost only one pair in th past five years! Be careful of the lens coatings; I fried the sensitive film on one lens by drying it over the hot defroster air in my truck.
I have over ten pairs of Oakleys, one matched to each activity that I do outdoors. I do not like the time and danger of changing Half Jacket lenses. I will probably be adding more.
