This CD is made up of a series of beautiful, melancholy songs. If you’re looking for senseless, happy-go-lucky CD, this is not the one for you. However, if you want to take an emotional journey, from start to finish, then I recommend this above all others.

I heard his music and bought the cd based on what I had heard. The cd was great, amazing, depressing and well written. A great buy for anyone who likes low key romantic or depressing tunes.

I'm hooked.
) Nothing like what I normally listen to, but I heard one of his songs in a movie and was hooked. Love it! Wish his albums were longer or cheaper...oh and track ten is Actually about 3 different songs. so it's more songs then you think you're getting.

Damien Rice's "O"Damien Rice's "O" is a classic. Violins and cellos are in almost every song. Cheers Darlin' even features a clarinet! All of the songs have relatable heart felt lyrics that make you think and feel.

I have no opinion one way orthe other about this album. I purchased it for my daughter, who requested it as she likes one of the songs on it. She seems happy with it.

Worth every penny!
My first experience with Damien Rice was in the movie Closer. I then went to a concert at the famous Ryman in Nashville, TN and although I knew almost none of his lyrics, I fell in love with his music. This CD does the best job at capturing all the raw emotion you feel while watching Damien Rice live!
