Quite possibly George Clooney's best film!

Brothers Joel Cohen and Ethan Cohen have always been remarkable filmmakers. Their sense of style and production are second to none. Of all of their film achievements, none stand so strongly as that of "O Brother, Where Art Thou?". This unique vision of storytelling, based on Homer's Odyssey, is a real movie delight in every way. I thoroughly enjoyed watching George Clooney's Golden Globe winning role as Everett. He has never been better than right here. John Turturro and Tim Blake Nelson also shine as Pete and Delmar, 2 other escaped convicts shackled with Clooney in search of buried treasure. The supporting cast is a film producer's dream. Holly Hunter is superb as Penny, Everett's ex-wife; Charles Durning is brilliant as ever in the role of Governor Pappy O'Daniel; Michael Badalucco is a comic genius in his turn as George 'Baby Face' Nelson; Chris Thomas King brings a breath of frsh air as Tommy; and John Goodman plays Big Dan Teague to the hilt. Set during the depression in Mississippi, the story carries into one situation after another with every scene played to perfection. The music on the soundtrack perfectly sets the tone for the entire film. The soundtrack recording was quite deserving of its Grammy win for Album of the Year. And George Clooney so richly deserved his Golden Globe award for Best Actor (Comedy Or Musical). Everyone should experience this contemporary classic movie.
