The Nutty Professor I & II (DVD, 2006, The Franchise Collection)

Funny, but I had forgottn all foul language in the 1st... I do understand the character had to be 180 different from the main character but, so much vulgarity?... Still funny though. I just can't show it to a young audience... Which is too bad because I'm a single parent with a 10 yr old and 6 yr old twins...

The nutty professor is just plain ol good family entertainment. The movies are funny but provide life lessons of just accept you for who you are. Great family movie night!

EDDIE MURPHY IS A COMPLETE FOOL IN THE PORTRAYAL OF THE DIFFERENT CHARACTERS. IT WAS DROP TO THE FLOOR FUNNY THROUGHOUT. FROM BUDDY LOVE DOWN TO GRANDMA, ALL WERE CRAZY FUNNY. IF YOU WANT TO LAUGH, WATCH THESE.. 5*'S.

While Eddie Murphy did add some modern aspects that made his version of this film very comical, he will never compare to the Jerry Lewis original. I bought this as a gift for someone else, but in my opinion Jerry Lewis was the sexier 'Buddy Love' and Jerry had a beautiful singing voice, unlike Eddie Murphy. I do love The Nutty Professor II, The Klumps, it is funny and original, Eddie Murphy at his best.

I'm trying to build a collection of Eddie Murphy dvd's in my collection. I think he is a great comedian And actor!

These are great movies and will keep you laughing all the way through! Although some scenes or language may not be appropriate for younger viewers it is still very funny and will have you repeating your favorite lines over and over again!
