This adorable set of mini-books by Maurice Sendak includes books in a "nutshell". They have Sendak's signature illustrations, and they are adorable to boot.
This is a great set to give as a gift for a new baby, as kids would love to have the teeny-tiny books sitting on a shelf!

I had this little set as a child and remembere reading it at least a hundred times...of course as it happens when kids grow older, somebody cleans up and books n toys disappear ( to make room for new stuff of course). As an adult I could not remember the author but was told these books were then no longer available! Glad to see they still are and I was surprised at how many of the cute photos I remember exatcly. Great kids books, great learning too!

Great set of books for learning. Love the travel sizeMy 2 and 4 year old boys loved this set of books. I was reading them every day for a week because they kept asking me to. The Pierre book talks about a boy who gets eaten by a lion after saying "I don't care" one too many times. He is saved and he changes his tune. This was perfect for my 4 year old who often says "I don't care." The other books teach the alphabet, numbers and months in humorous ways and are just great. A must have book for all toddlers.
