Nursing Care Plans (2002, Paperback, Illustrated)

This book makes writing care plans so easy. My clinical instructor loves my care plans and it takes me almost no time at all. There are many different care plans for each diagnosis and each care plan gives you actions to do and their respective rationals.

I like this book primarily because of its layout, but it does have a weak point. The book is excellent in terms of how the information is provided. Common nursing diagnoses are listed in the first section of the book, complete with definition, risk factors, expected outcomes, interventions and rationales.
Then the book shines by grouping nursing diagnoses by Medical/Surgical diagnoses. The only downside to the book is that it does not contain all of the NANDA approved diagnoses. Risk for falls is one major one that is not covered, but most other major ones are. I would recommend this book. It is inexpensive by comparison and its benefits outweigh its weaknesses.

Highly recommend. It gives you a clear understandig of what type of care plan you should follow when making a nursing diagnosis. It's helpful for NEW students who are learning to write care plans

As a first year nursing student, I found this care plan book to be an incredible asset. I needed to overview actual care plans, in order to understand how to prepare my own, and this book was very helpful. I highly recommend this care plan book to any nursing student! A+

I couldn't have survived my clinicals this semester without this book. It was very helpful. It has plenty of diagnoses, interventions and rationales. My clinical instructor asked me just yesterday if she could make a copy of one of my care plans to show other students who are having trouble. I definitely recommend this book.

I bought this book because all the other care plan books are not this easy to read and this is making care plans easy for school

This is the best Nursing care plan book I have yet to use, and I have used many. I highly reccommend this book.

I had to have a care plan book for class and the one that school was selling was almost 3 times as much as this one and after looking through it and my classmates book this appears to have more information and more topics. Seems to be a great book.

This is coming in so handy while im in school, since we have to write care plans i can get several out of this book.

I think this book is a great resource for any student in nursing or even a working nurse, I will get better grasp of many concepts because of it. Buy It you wont be sorry!!

I bought it to help me in my college classes. It provided the information I was looking for for writing care plans. It is a great tool for nursing students whether advanced or beginners.

I needed this book for nursing school. Heard it was a good book and the price was WELL below what I would have had to pay in the college bookstore. I have not used it yet - but I am sure I will get much use from this book.
