This is an atypical romantic comedy in which Zellweger, playing the lead role of Betty, is a waitress in a small town where her only entertainment is watching her favorite soap opera. When her husband gets mixed up with two crooks (Morgan Freeman and Crhis Rock), Betty sees something that alters her perspective. With the two crooks hot on her trail, she takes off on a journey to find the fictional character from the soap opera with whom she thinks she's in love. A wonderful, mixed-up comedy that shows a happy ending is what one makes of it.

A "Must See" movie

Morgan Freeman is at his best in this movie, paired with Chris Rock makes him even better. Renee Zellweger plays a wacko so believably! The movie is very funny, touching, and very different from the usual story. This movie is for people who like movies like "Weatherman", it's not an action movie, it's more about the characters than the story.
