Synopsis The last thing Marine Major Brian Dennis expected to find while serving in Iraq was a furry new best friend, but find one he did in the form of Nubs, an abandoned dog living on the streets near where Brian was stationed. The friendship started slowly, but over time Nubs grew very loyal to Brian and so, when duty called Brian to serve in another party of the country, both man and dog were heartbroken. Not willing to wait for a reunion, Nubs took it upon himself to travel over 70 miles (some of it across a freezing desert) to be reunited, once and for all, with Brian. Maps and photographs accompany the text of this true story.
