This is a very interesting DVD about some of the history and process of what is really involved in the making of a quality Katana Samurai sword. These are not pawn shop swords. They are works of art, sometimes costing tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars! I thought I knew a lot about sword making & metal working, but this video shows the true amount of work and pride that goes into these swords. It shows the process starting with a dedicated metal worker, then moving on to the master sword maker...a process that takes 6 months to make one blade!! This DVD will give you an appreciation for the art of crafting this elegant weapon.

) this is a great informative dvd i recomend it to those interested in samurai. it shows the making of the high carbon steel and forging of the blades. a long prossess but well worth the effort. Great show.
