Lewis Black's book Nothing's Sacred (2005/2006) is filled with his trademark angry, observational humor. It covers a wide range of topics from politics to pop culture. He somehow manages to yell in print throughout this collection of anti-authoritarian rants.
Black approaches every subject with a subversive wit and intelligent honesty as he biographically discusses the events that shaped his life and comedic point of view. His common sense approach to his subject matter causes the reader to want to shout, "I'm glad someone finally said that!"
Lewis Black's biting, sarcastic commentary is laugh-out-loud funny. His hyperbolic, literary style only adds to the hilarity of the book. If you have listened to Black's stand-up and enjoyed it, not only will you recognize some of the rants, you'll LOVE this book.
