Nothin' but great songs!

For some reason I usually seem to enjoy albums when the artist writes or cowrites the songs. Clint cowrote every song on here with some big time song writers including Steve Wariner, Kostas, Matraca Berg, Marty Stuart and Skip Ewing.
In addition to the hit title track and "Something That We Do", the album also features a duet with Martina McBride. Track 11 is an ode to legendary guitar picker Chet Atkins. Liner notes indicate there were 8 different guitar players for that song (including the legend himself).
My two favorite tracks never made it to radio. "Loosen Up My Strings" and "Bitter Side of Sweet" don't fit into the standard country subject matter of love, love gone wrong, trains, trucks, mamas, prison and getting drunk. The latter I like for the clever lyrics and rockin' guitar licks. The former for the awesome drumming (perhaps due in part to all the $10 drum lessons I took as a kid). All I know is I love this album and I'm sure you will too.
