Not Just Friends by Jean Coppock Staeheli, Shirley Glass (2004, Paperback, Reprint)

I checked this book out from my local library and couldn't put it down. Every paragraph leads you to the next and makes you wan't to keep reading.

What I love the most about this book is that it is very neutral, it doesn't take the affair partner or the betrayed partner's side. This book shows you steps to take before deciding to have an affair, after the affair, and how to repair all the damage that's been done.

This book is very helpful in part because it gives you so many couples'cases and situations that were the author's personal clients. They are real stories of real people that have betrayed or have been betrayed.

I HIGHLY recommend this book for couples, singles, betrayed spouses, divorcees; for anyone regardless of age, gender, marital status, or religion. This book will help you how to prevent yourself or your spouse from straying, it will help you to put your marriage back how it used to be regardless if an affair has happened or not, and it will help you mend your broken heart if you've been betrayed. It shows you that it's not the end of the road, that EVERY marriage is vulnerable of an infidelity even if it's a happy marriage because the reasons behind unfaithful people vary a lot and none are the same reasons.

Some pluses in the books are tons of survey polls, quizzes to take, facts, statistics, etc.

I have learned alot and when put to use it really does work.

Worth every penny and then some. I recommend this book to all, engaged, married, betrayed or not betrayed. This book is not just for those that have cheated or that have been cheated on.

If you are a betrayed spouse you need to be warned that this book can be very hard to read as it may bring up alot of heart wrenching thoughts, but well worth the effort to push through to the end.
